While stuffing around with Google last night I discovered that there is lots more things for sale on ebay under that search, and they didn't appear when searching from the Aussie site. In future I'll be looking at ebay.co.uk and searching from there. Might be useful for anyone else looking to ebay items from overseas. BTW GTs are really popular in the UK - London couriers use them. Kawasaki stopped making GTs in the late 90s but demand was so high in the UK that they made a couple more production runs in 2001-2003 or so. Got my eye on a brand new front guard from there. Handy for restoring my second GT. First one gets ridden every day so can't restore that one.
Just worked this out about ebay overseas.

I usually search on ebay Australia for stuff, and when I search on something such as 'GT550', then a heading with something like "314 items found for gt550 from eBay international sellers " comes up. I assumed that meant that ALL sales of GT550 things world-wide would appear there.

I found another part of e-bay as well the other day when looking for stuff for the new trailbike....
its called 'e-bay express'. seems to be run out of the US, and it also has lots of stuff that wasn't coming up on a normal search of the US site.
Generally, if you want to bid on stuff from the US, it always pays to e-mail the seller first - even if they say they only ship within the US, I have found a lot of them will ship to Oz no worries. Of course, not all of them will do this.
US e-bay sellers are 'generally' really good to deal with. They need to be, the PowerSellers are doing it for a living, and can't afford to have bad feedback.
