Damn ... if the 2005 zx6r is a hard sell, I wonder what a 2000 zx6r with 100,000km on the clock and dropped few times would be worth

Probably just worth converting it to a track bike when you're ready to replace.javaman wrote:Damn ... if the 2005 zx6r is a hard sell, I wonder what a 2000 zx6r with 100,000km on the clock and dropped few times would be worth
I'm only going to comment on this thread once...
Deni - on a number of ocasions you have stated that
, yet you reply to every comment. Take it with a pinch of salt and ignor it. It's your bike, try and sell it for what price you like.Deni wrote:anyhoo, I think its enough shit wrtitten on this thread...
BUT, understand that many deals are available on new bikes and it affects the resale value of used models. Also, when a new model comes out it lowers the price of the previous model. Any dealer with a new 06 ZX6 will be trying very hard to get rid of it as the 07 is so different. I'd hazard a guess you could barter one ride away for around 12K. This makes a used 05/06 cheaper - why would you spend 11k on a used model when 12k gets a new one? I know you are flexible on your price, I'm just making a point.
On the Strika thing, I'm not sure how this was resolved, but he used to work for Kawasaki and understands sales - I think he'd get a really good deal.
As for Neka, he's just like that. Funnily enough once you meet him you'd find him a great mate.

note the 11/2004 compliance......I bought it on the 19th Jan..... and it was delivered a few days later.. on 27th jan.
The bike shop had the bikes in the shop for I think about a week or perhaps two....before I bought mine....
