RC Helicopters??

Post by Burky »

Just wondering has anybody mucked around with one of these?

Since the 10's in the workshop and it's going to take 4-5 weeks for parts, thanks Kwaka Aus  I thought i would order one.
It's on it's way today. I allways wanted one so the one I bought is the Walkera 22e, electric for indoor and outdoor use.

Any advise would be good, but it's going to be fun either way

saw one of the tiny rc indoor ones in use, if you buy one, buy a LOT of spare rotors. They trashed a set of rotors in the store and it was the shopowner that did it! :) :)

i know a bloke who practised for weeks taking off in his garage and flying out, got all his mates around to show off to, took off and hit the roof...

choppers dont crash well :)

the decent ones, everytime you crash ot (quite often) you need at spend a couple of hundred on it

probably cheaper to crash the 10 again mate

A few Blackhawk drivers would love to be able to do that! Not sure I'd want to be a passenger though!

Anything worthy of buying must have 3D controls.

That small helicopter you are referring to is Picoo Z. Looks nice but if it only has 2D control (similiar like my kid have) they you'll outgrow it and got bored.

Oh, and prepare to burn cash (I heard) The T-Rex450 was the entry pilot's choice, before I decided It will be a money pit

Mine is the 3d version, $149 off fleebay, so the money pit may be very shallow  first hover settings arn't quite right  so will try again in the morning  lucky it came with extra blades.
