Fuel Tap Filter Information for ZZR-250

Post by ZZR_Bandit »

Hello Peoples,

I am wondering if anyone has any information on where to get the plastic filters that go on a ZZR-250 fuel tap. These are the ones that go into the tank and are different heights for the "normal tank" and "reserve tank".

I have rang my local Kawasaki dealer but they said they can't get them. I have got them ordering a new diaphragm and o-rings so I can rebuild this old dodgy one I have.

Any information would be great or if anyone has a spare one out there in good nick then please let me know.

Cheers

Also people I am trying to get a hold of a diaphragm kit for the fuel tap but am told that you can't get them anymore. If anyone has any info on where I might be able to get my hands on one then please let me know.

I priced a new fuel tap but at $112.00 I think i will try to fix the one i've got first.

Cheers

I reckon you would struggle to find a dipahragm kit much cheaper than that anyway..........if you can locate one in the first place.

Try US e-bay, they might have a kit.........or try 'findapart' as well, its worth a shot.
