Motorists "Occupation" police logic

Whats the go? I got pulled in the Mondeo by a very high ranking
queensland copper who didnt book me but must remember shouldnt overtake Police Supers in his own xr6 legal or not :( I thought he was a salvo-army roadrager :lol: :lol: He still did a liscence check and asked who owned the vehicle and then as always......
why do they want to know your trade so to speak. what does that tell
them.? Its been in every roadside dialouge Victoria, Nth Qld and BrizVegas.

People dont say "Im a break and enter merchant" do they?

Bookkeeper works a treat :shock: Being safe reasonable polite
and respectfull is a must too!

When people ask me what I do for a living I tell them I am a dolphin trainer... (hey, Im IT, If I tell them that they start telling me how their computer doesnt do X when they press Y).....

People usually give me a "WTF" kinda look...

I tell them I work in a marine lab close to Lorne, and we are teaching Dolphins "how to clean oil spills, and rescue and recovery.... You know... that kind of stuff.... Its quite interesting you know"

I get about a 50% hitrate on people believing me too...

Girls tend to get upset when I tell them that when some dolphins get too old we have to put them down....

I told a copper I used to be in IT, but wanted a more honest line of work so ive moved on to Playing Piano in a whorehouse

I've never been asked my occupation. Why would it be any of their business? Or do they let certain occupations off their fines? I know a couple of nurses who got let off fines when they showed their ample cleavage. One of those nurses was behind me speeding years ago. I reckon they read her speed, not mine and I got the fine. I was speeding, but not by as much as they said. The large-cleavaged one didn't get fined. I was late coz she couldn't get her arse into gear on time too. :(

Shit that's unreal. My Dolphin's been acting a real prick for months, keeps rooting the lounge, humping my leg and lately he's been pissing on everything. Last week he chased the postie down the street and wouldn't come back when i called him.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong Stereo?

I assume this is more linked to what you see on US cops type shows. Everyone that's pulled over for speeding, etc is making bombs, peddling crack, a dirty pedo, etc.

If you sell drugs and a copper asks you what you do for a living you could easily stammer and stutter and make them sus... give them reason to search the car and then you're fucked if you're carrying...

People never believe me when I say what I do for a living (insurance salesman). It's true damnit!
