Mil MI 24 Hind (D I think) if you wanna be pedantic, which i sometimes do
Combined Attack/Troop Transport, can carry 8 soldiers in full gear and a cubic assload of stuff to make you go away, and impervious to anything less than a 50cal

Having said all that, it does look exceptionally cool
