First thre was this with 10k motorists nabbed during 40km/h limits and are also complaining about poor signage. Dont point the finger either way, just read the article.
Then there is this shiner. where someone is starting a class action about the fines being sent out. The tunnel operators are all for a review of everything (the cameras, signage, etc..), but the minister for transport Eric "the raspberry" Roozendaal is pretty much blocking it from happening.

On Friday night I came back through there after getting back from Perth, It was about 11.00pm and going in they had signs everywhere saying reduced speed limit in tunnel due to roadworks. Through the whole tunnel though the speed signs all said 80 except for the very last one before you get out. By the time you hit that bastard you would unlikely be back down to 40 I'd bet. They then had the plonkers from the RTA leaning on their shovels on the side of the road after you got out of the tunnel.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

This is my experience riding in Sydney... at 100 zone everyone drives at 120, then there were camera warning signs... 3 of them per-camera! where everyone slow down to 95... after that... blastoff to 120 again
How convenient!
