Damn Mina between you n "Narfie" a bloke doesnt need The Comedy channel.
BTW very hard to "Bush Canic'" with a set of car keys. Digi Camera be ok you could take a photo for the insurance company.

got the parts for the oem toolkit from http://www.buykawasaki.com, will do something soon. when i first bought the bike, i was gonna go buy a kit from the wreckers but people said oem tools are shit. so i didn't do it.

the only thing i couldnt find was the C spanner at bunnings/repco/supercheap.

Seriously, I have OEM tools, a headlight, taillight and indicator globes and a pair of emergency wet-weather pants under the seat, my e-tag in the front compartment and a torch, change, wet weather gloves and waterproof jacket liner in my rack bag.

For the people with a first-aid kit, what do you have in it ? Is it a specialised 'motorcycle' first-aid kit or juts a generic painkillers and bandages kit ?

Umm, it doesn't fit under the seat, but when ever I go on a long trip in car or with bike, I take my St Johns road trauma first aid kit...but it goes in the Gearsack.

I usually chuck a few globes in for a longer trip, I certainly have some sitting at home the rest of the time.

The first-aid kit is a general one with a few extra bits chucked in that would have helped me when I came off, as well as some stuff that was recommended by the guy who ran the last first-aid course I attended (earlier this year). The course was meant to be oriented towards sport injuries, but with 4 of the 10 attending being riders, we managed to get some time on bike stuff as well.

Just as a point of interest, how many people have current first-aid qualifications or are planning on doing it soon? If so, have you learnt how to take a helmet off a rider in the correct manner to minimise neck injury? We convinced the guy who ran our course to show us, so we saw how it was done, but didn't get to practice it. I reckon it would be worth knowing though.
