What to take for a long ride ?

My first really long ride to Sydney is impending. I'm trying to put down a list what to take... help me here please.

Underseat:
Gaffa tape
Pants rain suit
Bicycle pump
Tubeless repair kit
Basic tools (screwdriver, plier)
Spare $100
Tissues
Flashlight

On bike:
water bottle
shoo roo
nsw & vic map

Bag & pockets:
Notebook + charger + ethernet cable + console cable
Camera + charger + usb cable
HP + charger
GPS + batteries
radio ?
Plastic bags
Ear plug
Chain lube
Clothing
Panadol + Imodium + Bandaid
Umbrella
Waterproofing gloves
Neck Warmer

Anything missed here :?:

r u going to sydney or perth? :) is the extra $100 for the extra fuel you use carrying all that shit :) just take cash clothes basic tools throw all the rest of that crap away :twisted:

Just added Panadol. Is that the best painkiller there is (just in case ... :? )

Andi I don't see anything you missed, have no idea why somethink thats a lot as its all basic and small stuff. I don't read everything here so where are you riding from and to ? distance and time on the road. You obviously have reasons for taking your computer and access.

You can say I'm nervous as this is my 1st big trip :lol: but I miss things all the time :o

Just added band aid. Sounds like a good thing to have around :wink:

On the basis that if you take something you can be sure you won't need it you should have a sensational trip Andi. Good luck mate. Let us know when you're in Sydney.

Wrap everything in plastic bags eg Garbage bags and take plenty of spare bags. Don't know what sort of luggage you've got but if yopu hit enough rain it'll get in inevitably

Those Glad sandwich bag things are good too ie for things like wallets,phones etc

doesn't hurt to have a couple of spare levers! don't want to ruin your trip by having the bike fall over and breaking a clutch or brake lever, another good idea would be to send a couple of hundred dollars to sydney in case things are more expensive than you thought! ... I'll give you a P.O Box number to send it too :twisted:

under my seat i always have
1st aid kit, zip ties (except the other week sorry mrstompy)
puntcure repair kit (tubeless)
and the normal tools.

i always take ipod phone and camera (and approriate chargers)
spare gloves,
wet weather suit
and neck warmer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
