Hehehe - good on ya! I reckon most bikes are geared way too high for the road, and my new one is certainly no exception.GlennB wrote:Ive just put on new chain and sprockets on my 99 zx6 and went up 3 teeth on the rear and now it power wheelies with easeStill dont have the balls to go to high though.

Powers up with ease - but like you, I'm chicken-shit and don't let it come up too high! Practice makes perfect though, right?

I've been put off wheelies... clutched up in 1st on the '00 6R, came right up (all i could see was sky, but it wasn't a ludicrously high wheelie)... didn't know exactly what to do so i shut off the throttle, bike goes back down ,tyre hits road, nuts hit tank, rider pulls over to side of road, hops off bike to 'walk it off', no more stunting for me
bananas -> bigger and harder than you !
At least you stayed on the bike steve, thought you were going to say you fell off, but ouch that wouldnt of tickled the nuts.
At the moment I keep twisting the handle bars by accident so as I come back down the handlebars give a bit of a shake
I also must lean to one side as I the bike veers left sometimes or could it be the camber of the road?

Watched a guy on a ZX250 today at Castle Hill take of from the lights.
1st then 2nd, he stands up on the pegs & bang , on the back wheel poppin this long stand up wheely. Looked fully sick. The idot was wearin track suit pants and a jumper, sneakers, no gloves.
One day hes gonna come down hard.. and bang... no skin. (Squidy)
Looked good though.
Not as good as mine
