i wasnt entirely impressed with the gsxr1000 when i took one up the old road for a test ride but i did like it a lot better than the gix 750, more stable through the corners and throttle wasnt as sensitive.. only the gix 600 handled better than 750/1000 but if i had a choice of suzuki's i'd take the 1000 for the power and solid handling. it did feel like it had a long wheelbase.
R1 is my pick, the R6 doesnt come close, its almost like the R6 is made for shorter riders with short arms.
dunno about zx6r or 10r, didnt really take em for a proper run.. mario, i dont know why you say the gix 1000 tank's a big bugger, i think my 9r's got a wider tank!
ian, youre right re range.. im tellin everybody - youse all needs to go buy a 9r!!!! i get 300km out of a tank and thats not riding like a turtle...
