Well done mate.

I too got my P a couple of weeks ago, luckily don't have to display the P as I have a full car driver licence. Still got the 250cc and pillion restrictions though

You also have to be over 30 years old, I think that's the minimum age for unrestricted.

But that is completely unrestricted. You can ride what you like and take a pillion. It's just a straight open bike licence if you're over 30. Technik says he still has restrictions :?

I'm originally from Victoria, did my test in Melb. Unfortunately there is no mature rider exemption in Vic, 250cc and pillions restrictions still apply for the first 12 months except there is no requirement to display the P plate.

Yes, if you are over 30 and have held your driving licence for more than 5 years..you would qualify for mature rider exemption in NSW!

Yeah, that's been running thro my head Neka. With the stats saying all these ppl out are there getting licenses and buying new scooters and bikes - I sure as hell don't see many L's or P's on two wheels in the traffic. Which has me thinking - "am I the only clown doing it..."? I'd be lucky if I saw one other L in the morning traffic per month.

I just know I'll be the guy who gets pulled over for an RBT and they'll check my license and start looking for the conspicuously missing P plate dontknow.gif
