New rider clocks 181km/h in Perth
April 17, 2007 - 4:44PM

A 18-year-old man has been clocked riding a motorcycle 120kmh above the speed limit of a Perth street just a week after getting his licence.

Police said they charged the man with reckless driving after allegedly catching him riding his bike at 181km/h in a 60km/h zone, in Baldivis at 9.15am WST this morning.

It is understood he got his motorcycle licence about a week ago.

He will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on Friday.

Yup and you can bet your left nut his licence won't see the month out and deservedly so too. I have no prob with speeding but 180 in a 60 zone is fucked up.
