Randy update
Thanks - that's a really kind offer. I'm imagining he'll be slightly smaller than last time I saw him, so he should fit into my parking space under my apartment building. All the neighbours are going to do a double-take when they see him lying there mangled, in bits....ttc wrote:Bobbi, i have a lock up garage if you need to store Randy somewhere secure.
Hayden who??
I doubt very much there'll be anything significant to salvage. With the front being "compacted" and it being a head-on accident I'd say the frame is twisted, subframe also, front rim wrecked, all fairings etc. etc.adel wrote:Mate have you seen the bike I mean how badly damaged, is it worth gettin it back to even sell it in parts, or is it mangelated, ........
However.......... whatever condition he's in, I want to get him home. I hate the thought of him sitting alone in some towyard, rusting for weeks then being torn apart by some greasy, ruthless wrecker. He deserves better than that.
Hayden who??

Sorry about the bad news Boobi!
First thing I thought was KARMA.
IMO you should tell them to stick the towing charges... Was the guy found with any money in his wallet, or next of kin, cause they can bloody front up the responsibility for his action and atleast have the decency to cover having the wreck returned to its rightful owner. WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT!
Hi we've found your stolen vehicle... YOU will have to pay to have it back... What an injustice to the victim of crime... It could be worth following up, the guy had some sort of estate you could put in dibs for partial cost of the bike... For all you know he was into drugs and did it for kicks.
Good luck Boobi!
*hugs*

Whats the phrase im searching for? oh poetic justice thats it!
It may be harsh, but he got what he deserves, he was the one that crashed randy, not you or anyone else. He caused his own demise.
Lol those coppers would make good comdians, i couldn't stop laughing with the whole ''found your bike! want it back? got your wallet?''

towing charges and holding charges (if the vehicle is parked in a yard) are to be paid by the owner or insurance company in a case of an insured vehicle accident.mick_dundee wrote:No legal eagle but I don't believe they can MAKE you pay towing charges for an accident that clearly you had nothing to do with!
