Kawasaki AR 125

Post by Damon Z1000 »

Just a quicky, just noticed that someone was asking questions about a ZZR250 (maybe his first bike).
I have to admit that many years ago, my first machine was a Kawa AR 125, what a machine  , but all the same I took my provisional and passed my test on it and was very pleased with my powerbanded two stroker.
I would love to see another example again as I didn't take any pictures back then (and yes cameras were invented).I don't even know wether you got them over here in Aus.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be pleased to see a pic again.
Cheers.

Thats the one, should have checked bike pics!
How skinny were those wheels?Looks like this guy had the same problem as me,we both obviously lost the lockable cover over the rear storage and then bodged one up
I blew the piston on mine at about 70 mph down a hill coming up to a sweeping left bend, nearly shit myself.
Took it home stripped it down and ordered the parts, couldn't have been easier. Those were the days.
Thanx anyway mick, brought back some memories.
Catch you later.
