handy for pillions too!!Scottatron wrote:I tried the whole ab tightening/leg grip method this morning on the way to work, and it was amazing! I guess I was putting too much weight on the wrists.
Good advice I-K!
i kno a girl who use to ride bitch on her hubbys bike and rarely did she hold on with her hands...
when i pillion i often hold on super tight with me legs (especially when carrying beer, bags of rice and other such stuff)... so it was a good call from I-K...
also if ur getting a sore wrist heres one smitty told me...SMILE...it relaxes u a little, and u stop overgripping the bars!!

Well maybe my riding position is all wrong, but ive got an 03 636, and i get real sore wrists. I should mention though, i have broken both of them and had them operated on, so they probably arent the strongest. But i dont care, cause as soon as im out revvin the tits off it, nothing seems to bother me

not really, if your carbs are set up correctly. FI can get *slightly* better economy, but it takes the same time to balance a set of DFI throttle bodies as it does to balance a set of carbies......and DFI may offer a bit of a performance increase over stock carbs, there's not a lot in it these days........Scottatron wrote:So is there a major difference in performance/economy/servicing costs between carby and fuel injected?
