I don't mind taking a pillion, the missus used to love going to work on the back of the Pearl when it had a normal seat, a few years ago. She was a good pillion as well, hardly knew she was there.

It was intersting to pillion TeamCrim around PI, on his own bike  and you make a good pillion Mick  just stop getting wood eh ? My coin-slot is *not* a minge ..... (ITS A LITTLE BIT CHUBBY, AND A LITTLE BIT HAIRY....)

I make a shithouse pillion, with the only exception being old mate Andy in Surfers, I have no problem with his riding. He is one of the only riders I am comfortable being pillioned by.

I-K made a good point about going fast 2-up.........a few years ago, I was riding with a few other Z Owners in Macquarie Pass :P , bloody hell, the President was on his Jaffa (73 Z9), 2-up with his not inconsiderably-sized missus, and the bastard flogged all of us !! I tried as best I could to hang onto him, but he just sailed off into the distance.....it was very frustrating..... :x

Back in the 'good old days', taking impressionable 18 year-olds for a spin on the back was just a prelude to taking them for a further spin on their back. I miss those days ...

Not for me. All the people that wank a ride are bigger than me so i say no! My son will jump on the back down the driveway, or the odd charity run is not a problem though.

Eh, Missy? ;)
Ok guys - the friend that pillioned me on the Honda was a girl! She definitely wasn't hot in my eyes
On the other hand, the ex had two Honda's- hence I have a passionate dislike of men on Honda cruisers- i would rather pillion on a scooter!

I guess that means if you ride a 12 or a 9 it's ok
Im guessing you do a LOT of things alone eh Benno ??

But I have to admit pillion pegs are the first thing ditched when I get a bike and none of mine has them. I had to dig out the ones for the 12 when Lainie came up...
Normally that part gets CUT off the pipe side hanger so she was lucky I had a C/F one on the bike at the time and still had the original.
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD

MrStompy wrote:GF wont ride with me anymore cause she reckons i just spend the whole time lane splitting. Im kind of glad cause she is a shit pillion anyway.
on the opposite, my girlfriend likes being on the back partly because of the "screw you" to the whole traffic jam thing. She admitted that once after i had taken her for a long ride, when she hopped into her work car (was a rodeo, same model as kaw's old un) she caught herself starting to do it and swore at herself for even trying to.
