Post by zzzak »

I found another Kawasaki forum and have been checking out the tasty bits.

These are worth a look, get the second one first if you're on dial-up.

Check out the ZRX Chopper at this site... http://www.zpwr.com/

I'm not a chopper fan, but this one would sure as shooting scare the crap out of some of the big twin boys...

Lot of work and ingenuity went into this bike too.

Cheers,
Pete

Compared to the exorcism that is required to remove the tappet cover on a ZRX, that looks like it would be a hell off a lot easier to work on :) .

Are you still running the KLEEN stuff on your 12 Errol?

It shouldn't be too hard to remove the valve cover if that stuff is gone...?

If you ever make it up to the tropics, you can take mine for a run Phil.... Hope you're healing up after the Skippy Incident!

Pete

No Pete, I removed mine around the 10,000klm mark, about 4 1/2 years ago. It is however IMO still a pain in the A** to remove the tappet cover. There is a LOT to be said for perimeter frames, the CBR was far simpler to get to the tappets ( & adjust them for that matter)
My model however never had the KLEEN badges either :) , so thats 2 less items I had to remove.
