I've never pillioned anyone except the kids down the driveway (my wife won't have a bar of the bike). I don't know anyone else that's interested except those who already ride.
I've been pillioned on the back of a mate's 9R back to work from Brighton Kawasaki and it was an absolute hoot. The only trouble was that I outweighed him significantly and every time some wanker cut him off and he jammed on the anchors I slid down the pillion pad and threatened to crush his nuts against the tank with considerable force. As he's a skinny bugger I got around this by bracing myself by holding on his tank. Must of looked a bit odd, but he's single and probably needs them .
He didn't mind the extra weight, the 9R has more than enough hp for the Nepean Highway in rush hour and at least I was leaning the right way around corners .

Nothing sexy about that neka.....
He didn't say it was sexy. He said it was funny...
haha thanks mate...
yea i know a few nuts who are quicker 2 up than solo, or at least on par...
personally im much slower 2 up..unless its on the freeway or cruising (most chicks get sore after a few min thru the hills...)

I have the same approach to pillioning as giving massages; girls and women - game on. Blokes - ummm, OK, but I reserve the right to feel weird about it.
hahaha thats piss funny ..ur on a roll mate...
so u wanna give me a massage? i dont mind YOU feeling weird abt it
I realy dislike pillioning but having said that it was fun having Lainie on the 12 for a while as she is a brilliant pillion and you wouldnt know she was there except your back was warm and the occasional squeal.
Monos are easier too
I dont think she felt so safe and trusting when i totalled the bike the weekend after she left...
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD
I don't have any real issues with someone on the back, as long as it is someone I know and trust. I prefer to go solo and I don't like being pillioned - I'm a control freak

I would have to say that was well something I will NEVER forget.... Would I hop on again for sure as long as we got back up on that back wheel and stayed away from round abouts
What u do when your on the bike alone is your problem I know for fact that you would never do anything you knew you couldn't handle with me on the back. Shit happens having said that happens to you more often
I had a great time at PI being ferried between the house and the caravan park on the back of my bike by Gos and also on the back of Wattie's bike...don't know how much they enjoyed it though cos I don't think I'm a good pillion, but at least I wasn't the one who got us lost

Define "good" for me mate.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

2016 KTM Superduke 1290 Oraaaaange
2016 Seadoo RXTX300
Too many toys.......work is getting in the way!!!!
Ferrying a green wigged maniac with a video camera around the outside of PI is amusing.
Ferrying the same maniac from Daves caravan park to Mick, Gos, Kev and Ponti's house and getting a guided tour of Cowes while the said maniac try's (unsuccessfully) to direct you there is also amusing (in a bent kind of way)

I don't mind taking a pillion, but only if we're going somewhere. (Having said that, having Marranda on the back with me riding is helping to bring her confidence levels up).
I actually like being a pillion - I'm just no good at it. Apparently I fidget too much, and lean into corners when I'm not supposed to..

I think you are right frog. It does depend on how good at pillioning the pillion actually is!
I have been told that when I have pillioned the rider has to turn around to see if I am still there. Although when I pillioned with Jonno I was leaning further into some corners than him and he almost decapitated me on a pole!

Forgive quickly,
Kiss slowly,
Love truely,
Laugh uncontrollably,
And NEVER regret anything that made you smile.'
I quite like taking pillions. They always have a good time, and if they're adventurous I'll show 'em a good wheelie or some hard cornering. Chicks or blokes, either's fine - and I find it hilarious how blokes will fiddle and fidget because they're so uncomfortable giveing you a cuddle.
Having said that, I love rooting sheilas and if hooning around with one on the back will get me a leg over, then it's cheaper than buying them cocktails!
