Hey all,
I have a 97 ZX6R and I am wondering if a 99 ZX6R exhaust pipe will fit on my bike.. will it bolt up directly?
Does anyone know?
there is one for sale on Ebay that I am looking at, but want to make sure that it will fit.
Thanks
Ron

The '98-'99 model is a physically bigger, taller bike with a steeper angle to the muffler. The pipe off it might look somewhat funny on a '95-'97. Beyond that, I suspect it'll fit. Architecturally, the engines are just about the same.
Don't take that as confirmed, though. I've had '98-'99 model engines and '95-'97 pipes in the shed at the same time, but never actually tried to see if the pipes will mate up to the exhaust ports.

Thanks Mate,
Any chance you might want to part with one of the 95-97 Pipes? or a spare exhaust Can?
Thanks
