hey mate i can only tell u what i have found...
im 5'11" and had a 2r for about 6 months, it was an ok bike to learn on however maybe not the best. i weigh 100-110kg and found i would bottom out the rear if there was a bum mid corner.
also this bike for me was hard to get my toes up ont he peg my knee wouldnt bend any more so this led to lots of foot scraping.
also as a learner they arnt the most easy bike to do u turns etc on as ur hand tend to get stuck against the tank...
however the bike was quick for a 250 and would probably last longer than another 250 as u wouldnt get bored as quick and the 19k redline is a buzz
they have a strong motor (mine had 60k on it)

hope this helps

Thanks for all the replies. I think the ZZR sounds best and will keep the budget low. I might have to make a trip to Sydney to look at a few as there arent many around in the sticks!!

I would guess the biggest fairinged bike would be the Hyosung 250...

But LAMS is handy.... you get way more choices...
The world is round. It has no point.
