The weather and abrasion protection required when riding a bike is a PITA and ensures that bikes are not accepted as a popular alternative to cars. Cars are fucking dumb for getting to places by yourself. Bring on the practical small vehicles (2 or 3 wheeled). As long as I can still ride a normal bike :)
Fuck all this hybrid and crash safety bullshit, the most effective way to minimise ecological impact and improve traffic is to move to smaller and lighter vehicles.

Ah, nope. Best way is to switch to electric cars, but that won't happen as the govt won't make enough money out of it

We use coal to power your oversized (you disagreed with small) electric car. Hydro has environmental impact as well. Shrink the vehicle and every powertrain technology becomes more friendly. Less energy to produce, less toxic metal in your batteries, less to dispose of, less to accelerate. Perhaps a bit nicer to be hit by too :)

Doors closed 2 wheels and looks like a full floor, without and holes (cause that would let the water in) .

All this = farked paint work and still get wet picking up the NEW AGE peice of crap that doesn't stink and don't know it's running

Just my opinion, maybe they should stick to the tin top designs

If you paid a bit more attention to the photo you'd notice the solution.

Do you really think that a bunch of people came up with a nifty looking prototype (maybe its even a production model?) and didn't realise that it has to stand up? You gotta give people a bit more credit.

I agree. It's not like we'll be forced to ride one of them, and I'd rather share the road with those things.

Seriously ? :? You would rather share the road with something that has *nil* rearward effective vision ? How good do you think those tiny mirrors mounted up the front will be ? The cockpit isn't big enough to turn your head around and see what is behind you. That shitbox would have a *huge* blind spot.

I would prefer to take my chances with a normal cage than a new-millenium Quasar .....
