Update on Phil

Post by MadKaw »

I just spoke to Phil and he wanted me to thank everyone for the help and the good wishes over the last few days.
For those that don't know, Phil hit a kangaroo just outside of Tintaldra on Tuesday.
He is currently in Wagga hospital with a broken collar bone, broken shoulder blade, 5 broken ribs and a punctured lung.

Skippy is dead....

He will be home tomorrow but taking it easy for a few weeks.
The bike isn't too bad and will probly be repaired.

I'll let those that were there fill in the details...

Having had a bum clenching experience with a roo recently (I don't think that came out quite right...), I can only imagine the pain he's in.

All the best Phil. Heal quickly.

Actually, Phil and heal rhyme, so I'm sure he'll be ok. :)

Great to see the helmet did its job  Looks like bright daylight there opposed to the "they only come out at night" theory :x

We got the bike in Phil's garage last night ready for the restoration. Doesnt look to bad as you can see. He cant ride for 5 to 6 weeks so I reckon he will have enough time to get it back to its former glory.

That second bit didn't come out quite right, either, dude...
