Go and talk to one of those 'No Win No Pay' lawyers, and do it while the whole thing is still fresh in your memory.

At least they will give you some idea about the possibility of beating the charge.

I think you will find that the points carry across, its a national system now, except for the sandgropers.......

Being a dreaded law enforcement officer I can tell you that now points DO carry across borders. It was correct that back in 02/03 they didnt. Aust is now governed by 1 set of road rules...The Australian Road Rules...and points offences are the same and the police system is linked to each states governing road body.

Sorry to tell you this...I probably would have let you go cos my 4b speedo is out and I know how frustrating it is.

Neka more bad news... 129 in a 100 zone is a 1 month suspension. At least it is in vic.

bad luck buddy but it serves you right for getting to go to the supers! hehehe

If it makes you feel better I was heading over to bills place to get gregs key and after lane splitting to the front and taking off (the light turned green straight away) I look in my mirrors and there's a big bright yellow highway patrolman one lane over and behind me. so I'm slowly backing off (might have been a bit over the limit, not sure

) and waiting for him to move in behind me but he just came past and gave me a slow down wave... would have kissed him if I could. so some of us do have some luck

(thank god cos I only have 1 point left)

oh yea he told me im banned from driving in vic for 28days....

i sat on abt 115(speedo) most of the way down...and had i not had the test thingy tell me my speedo was out by abt 12% i probably woulda on the way home.... *sigh*

better get use to walking...
