Accomodation at the Walcha Pub is apparently good and well priced.
Ginger's creek is expensive.
You may be able to find something cheap in Port Mac, but I'm not sure.

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.

When we were last in Port Macquarie we stayed at Edgewater Caravan Park, which has cottages, and covered carports for the bikes.

The park manager Patrick rides, so he is very biker friendly. If you book with them, let them know that you will have your bike with you and he will ensure that you get a cottage with the covered carport.
Jeff came off his bike and broke his hand while we were down that way. Patrick offered to store the FZ1 in his locked garage, and moved his own bike out of the locked garage, for a week and a half until it could be picked up by the bike transport company. He kept in constant contact with us during that time as we had returned home. Patrick is a very nice guy, and certainly helped us out a lot!

Ride the Oxely and then go to Walhca from there too the Bendamere Pub in Bendamere the food and accom is great and cheap and you get a garage for your bike.
