Pro kwakka don't have any bits down there that suit what you're after suspension wise.

There's a guy at Brisbane bikers named Matt, he has an 06, he's had his front forks done by Steve and put an ohlins in the rear. If you're after more feedback I'd give him a yell as well.
Yep thats me! Yeah i got an Ohlins through steve, I couldnt tell you what the difference is between a stock zx6 shock and mine but the Ohlins is magic! I have done two track days on it now and the feel and feedback is fantastic! If you want any more info just give me a yell

Do it, changes the bike completely.
Was this a complete change of springs, or did they slip in another catridge to give you the same adjustability on both forks?

I would love to do a complete front change but won't be able to afford that for quite a while. I have a zx10 shock coming and from what I have read it's going to show how bad the front is pretty quick so it's something I want to look at soon!

Would someone kindly explain what is involved in doing this?
Cheers!

Pffft! That's the snobs approach!
I get far better satisfaction, researching what's the best value modification, sourcing it and fitting it myself.

Thats what I like about this site - you are all so technical!! :D

Any idea what type of cartridge, and do you think it now would rival or be similar to the 636 fork swap??

I dont know much more than Tanya, but he did show me the new cartridges he was going to put in, and he had to machine down some of the existing internals to make them work. I still only have adjustment on the one fork, the other is set as a constant. I dont think it is a DIY job

Yeah, I saw that one about two weeks ago and almost got it - less than 5000km on it and would cost just under $200 Oz to land - a bargain!

I ended up getting a ZX10R shock from a RidersForum member for about $150 del with everything I need to do the conversion, so I'm happy!

You will surely find one here in Oz, far cheaper than that!
Tried hunting around wreckers or tried Krooz Tune?
