Track Days

Post by Lainie »

I really do not know anything about track days as yet. BUT
Ride-Tek (Tones part time job) are now doing Track days over at Broadford starting Feb 9th. Prices are $120

We only take relatively small groups so the track is never crowded and we grade riders into groups to suit their experience level, so you won't feel intimidated by other riders. We also have instructors and marshals on-track to ensure safety and control throughout the day.

not bad at all, but it's a shame that they only do Thurs and Fris :(

Do you reckon leathers would be a requirement? I've got a textile jacket, draggins, boots and gloves, but no leathers.

You dont really want to be wearing anything less than leathers anyway IMHO
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD

I asked them about leathers and the guy I spoke to (can't remember his name) said they would provide them if you didn't have your own (just don't focus on other people having sweated in them!)

Ooooh, I think I might give them a call tomorrow. Anybody else thinking of coming this Friday?
