My trip home for xmas...
well i forgot to do a little report from my trip back home..but i found the pics we took from when i got back...
so basicly we were pushing hard to get home in one day (14hr trip) and i was still abt 8 hrs out of Adelaide, i wasnt driving crazy, but wasnt stopping uneccesarily either..so sitting on 110kph on the freeway and theres a bang, thud, oh shit..i'd blown a rear tyre...pisser..spent an hour on the side of the road trying to change it whilst trucks whistled past..problem with holden utes is the spare sits up under the tray, on a hoist..and its effing hard to hoist back down...and when ur ute is lowered and u cant get under it, well its even harder...
so neway heres a few pics of the tyre..and my attempts to fix it...
oh and the look on the tyre guy's face when i took it in and asked him to fix it was priceless..i told him "the tape doesnt seem to hold very well" ...
