having had a cupla rides on the 10 while I was looking for a new bike last year I have to agree
but for real life riding..that is on the road I found the 10 a pain .......literally!
sore wrists, sore arse, sore thighs on every ride and a pain to ride in traffic with a throttle like a light switch
very unpleasant and it showed that the 10r is meant for the track
I'd suggest riding one before you go and apply for a pensioners card, and buy a 12

boy I suggest you test ride a 12 coz
....in real life riding (not on the track) the 12 is more pleasant
to ride..and no slower
Lane splitting on the freeway or the ride to the hardware
...makes no difference coz having done both, the 10 will
be no quicker than the 12
and imho, the 12 is easier to ride
my 2c
