P Plater strikes again!

Post by Burky »

Before i start i have nothing against P platers, we all started somewhere!!!!

Anyway left home heading down Chapel St in Bankstown. Some dick decided to put a trafic island and merge 2 lanes into one and then back to 2. Now this island i have said for ages that it will cause an accident(just didn't think i would be part of it). Driving down there in the left lane 60kms then BANG CRUNCH "FARK!!!!" this poor kid in a falcon decided to change lanes as the trafic in the right lane stopped for the lights. Get out of the car looking at the damage drivers side door, passangers door rear quarter and possible rim. His damaged falcon didn't look as bad but still not pretty. The kid was all right but turned white when he saw the side of my car. Went to the panel shop there first words ouch! followed by "was he insured" yes thank god. Looks like full respray down the side with new door skins rear quarter and all outside trim pieces...$$$$$.

The scary thing is i was going to take the bike but couldn't find the bottom of the tank bag, so drove instead

If i see something that looks like a stupid trafic hazard I'm keeping my mouth shut

Unfortunately all P-Platers / young drivers *WILL* have an accident at one time or another, generally after an accident they realise that the big shiny things we call cars dont like hitting each other, and that his falcon does not have brakes like Coulthard's Mclaren..

Glad to hear your OK.

Glad to hear you're ok but rather than keep you're mouth shut aren't you better off telling some dick that put the hazard there that it would be better removed??

Did better than my last encounter with a bastard p plater, 2 months in hospital and 9 months in a wheelchair

They should be beaten with a stick while forced to chant, i am not schumacher until their tongues fall off
