In the beginner group they do not allow overtaking on the inside of corners, people have to go round the outside. So hold a reasonable corner line and enjoy yourself

Nerves are natural, even most experienced guys (and girls) get a bit nervous just before going out on track. Don't be pressured to go quicker than you're comfortable with, there's no prizes for being fastest. Take your time the night before getting everything ready and organised so you're relaxed in the morning, not rushing. Stay hydrated on the day.
Most importantly..........

HAVE FUN :)

as punisher said - prepare in advance.
you dont wanna be rushing around on the morning looking for things.
if possible take a seat and a change of clothes so that you can get out of your leathers between sessions. it makes it much more comfortable - especially at this time of year.
Drink heaps of water and powerade on the day cause you are gonna sweat like a pretty boy in prison

use your first session to get familiar with the track - you will find everyone else is taking it easy during the first session as well.
then for the first lap of every session after i take it easy just to try get some heat into the tyres then i get into it after that.

you may want to let some air out of your tyres.
If you have any questions or problems while you are out at the track just ask anyone. ive never met an arsehole yet at the track - everyone seems really willing to help each other especially new people.

Its a blast and you will love it.

Yes, see how to identify a restricted model. As you can see this bike is clearly a cafe latte' racer.

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

I might be interested in that one. I've got a track day at Eastern Creek on the 7th but will then be heading for Broadford on the 11th so could fit in Wakefield. Whats the deal, how much and where do I sign on?

Cheers
