Hi Guys, I need to convert some video from my camera ! The camera only saves them as .MOV, but i need them to be .AVI for another program called registax ! I've tried a couple of programs with no luck, any ideas ?

I tried that link, but i couldn't figure out how to use the thing ! I'm not a computer freak, I need a simple click & go type (preferably free) lol !

It's easy...you start the software, drag the file you want to recode into the main window, then click start...

Yeah i did that, I got it in there but then it had some sort of error ! I'm trying virtualdub at the moment, we'll see if this one works ?

nero does that, using nero media encoder might so it.
If it hurts, you aren't doing it right.

yup, don't go there.. or maybe Adobe premiere and a 2 year course to learn how to use it or maybe Pinnacle might work.

I'm not sure about avi to dvd, but we use nero and dvd shrink to burn all our movies !

Yeah there ok for that but the prob I have run into is downloading movies off bit torrent and most of them are avi.
