Almost Track ready...

Well after a long night last night, I've got the bike back for the intrim..

A huge thanks for Rod @ Melb Motorcyle Fairings for offering to fit up the race glass for me.

The race glass and rear sets are from Wet4U. Thankfully I didn't have to run 98-99 model glass :)

And a big thanks to Groggles for helping me to bike transportation.


After abit of adjusting the rear sets are on. I thought i'd go reversed gearing and see how that works for me, so fingers crossed.


The to do/buy list:
Air duct
Spare tank (GREEN)
Spray the bloody thing... GREEN of course... :) Maybe a Pitty Race Rep... MMmm

Put a BIG sticker on the tank / inner fairing / somwhere........that says

DOWN for UP !!!!

If you haven't ridden with a race-shift before, its *real* easy to forget this..... :shock: :shock: :x :cry:

It was interesting to read in AMCN that Chris Vermeulen uses a standard road pattern for his MotoGP bike :shock:

Looks great Iceman. what year fairing did u manage to get fitted? Was it hard to get them on? Am looking for race fairings for the 99 cbr, and wondered how new I could make it look.

I run a standard road pattern on the RD. I've been caught out a few times, with the foot under the lever, but spending so much time on the work bike makes running a race pattern too confusing for my miniscule brain. :lol:
