Foxtel channels for MotoGP and WSBK???

Post by MrStompy »

im thinking of getting foxtel this year so that i can watch MotoGP and World Superbikes.

what channel/s do they show them on?
Im hoping that this channel is in the basic package. ie the 36.95 per month package.

it sux to pay for TV but watching motoGP on channel 10 is heart breaking.
In a 24 or 26 lap race you miss atleast 8 laps cause they are showing advertisements.

The fox sports channels are not on the basic package.
To get these it will cost about $52 a month I think..

typical that anything worth watching is not on the basic package.

that is going to be a bit harder to get by the boss. luckily for me she actually loves motorcycle racing - just hates being on them (with me).

Unfortunately to get the sports channel you need to purchase almost all of Foxtel, and after being stuck at home for over 9 weeks with nothing to do but watch friggen tellie, I honestly believe that FOXTEL is latin for "57 channels of shit"

Stompy take the beer option,

shame the WANKERS show the world super stock in January.. for rounds 1 or 2 from the year before...

Instead they pan off to a 1990's WSBK race rather than show the entie event... Utter load of crap.. I am rather pissed about it after seeing the super stock races 2 weekends ago... Kwaka on the podium in atleast 2 races...

We did it not long ago. You need to get basic plus sport which I think is about $60 .....BUT......when you sign up you get a free month with everything. You then discover that to get the Comedy channel you need the lifestyle package and to get Nickelodeon for the kids you need another package. Clever bastards. We ended up just getting the lot for $100.

I was always really anti Foxtel but now I wouldn't be without it. There is a lot of shit but theres also a lot of good stuff.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Thats true glen ... what happened to us is start on a small package then more chanels are released & you have to pay more to get them ... its a shame you cant pick chanels you want based on a set rate per chanel :?
