Post by GPXRAH »

It is me sarahc. I had to change my name today. I found out that Ben has me an additional birthday present. I am so very excited :D I am finally getting a bike :D Won't be able to ride it for a while  It is going to be a working project but I am still excited :D I will post pics of it when I get it. It is an 89 GPX250 (black and red) that will be blue and silver when we are finished. Will keep everyone posted with pics etc. :D

looks good, as long as the chassis is straight, forks unbent and the engine strong, all the rest is a peice of cake. Just remember that the bigger packs that you buy plastex in, the cheaper it gets!!

chassis is straight, forks unbent, engine that is in it really sh*t but the engine that we got with it is great. A little bit of work to do and oh a licence to get but I am on my way to riding my first road bike yippee. :D

You're off to a great start. When mine arrived, although in one piece, it had bent forks, broken plastics and full of dodgy bolts and screws. The engine sorta ran, but it was crap. You are way ahead with what you got there. Make a silk purse.
