*cough* never had meat bite back before Zombie!!!

oh and i went to the dentist today and got it filled in, for shits & giggles i got a double shot of novocaine as a "standard" shot of it only made my mouth tingle like it had pins & needles, a most unusual feeling in itself.

[gory details]
Apparently there was less nerve than a full stop (.) visible, and it wasn't complaining (bleeding etc) so he thought he could get away with cutting back the crap and filling it in. he said he is deliberately being pessimistic, but thinks i've got a 70/30 chance in favour of not needing a follow up, on this tooth that is. Im hoping he's right!

he advised that there was a bit of decay there, but it would be heard pressed to have found it on an x ray, not to mention the fact i've successfully avoided dentists for over two years *im bad, i know*. But i've got a bit of a follow up to do in a month or so to check the "scenery" around the general area.

The funny thing is, the most pain i had was the sharp pinchy feeling when i was first slugged with the needle!! once the insufficient-drugs thing was sorted out i only ever felt a slight bit of an ouch the once.
[/gory details]

oh and i think his 18-20y/o (thats for you neka) assistant might have thought i was cute, she kept babbling on until they started with the injecting me with drugs :).

she had a low cut blouse, but as she was young & a slim girl the puppies weren't showing themselves sufficiently for you to live through my experience, sorry dude.
