What do you read?
Only purchase the occasional mag these days..got sick of the idiot editorial styles and advertorial content especially when it comes to new products.
Cycle Torque, AMCN, Two Wheels and Trader for me motorbike info and Aust. mountain bike mag for the treadly kind.
I really hate seeing a great review of something that word of mouth has identified as a POS, followed by ads for it on the next page...talk about conflict of interest.
They all do it but at least Cycle Torque are completely upfront about it.

Just one more law and everyone will be safe.

While refuelling the car in pakenham I saw a "sports touring" magazine. Looks quite nice but since 2W had the double issue I did not pick it up -- wrong move.
Anyone know what magazine it is and where I can get it in melbourne? Been looking at stores, even petersteves does not have it. It's australian sinca on that issue it had an article about riding from melbourne to sydney (with all the back roads)...

You can get it at some news agents, but most don't stock it. Or, you can get a subscription:

It can actually be a pretty decent read some of the time.

Performance Bikes is the only mag I buy with a measure of religiosity.
Instead of sticking a bunch of 600cc press bikes into the fast group at a trackday and writing about that, they enter the European Cannonball and take turns helping a bloke build a bike from scratch in his shed... where other mags feature a photo of an Akrapovic pipe, they saddle up, ride to Slovenia and visit the factory.

AMCN, Two Wheels and Performance Bikes. Used to read Fast bikes as well but editorial drift ended up driving me away. Looking more and more like it is going to drive me away from AMCN too. A mag that I used to take a day or two to read properly now only gives me an hour or two of reading. Skip all the boring crap and suddenly you realise you might have wasted your money. The only reason I still buy it I think is for Fred Gassit. Althought it can be a bit hit or miss. When it's a hit it's brilliant. When it's a miss you just wind up scratching your head going "What the Fark".
If a man says something, and there is no woman there to hear him, is he still wrong?

Another one I saw was a decent magazine (on that issue they discussed street-fightering Hyosungs) -- which is quite impressive. Can't remember the name...

Ah, guys, I'm just gutted that no one reads Cycle World Magazine. It is the most superior product out there, no bias
I know it's not easy to find over there though.
It's not the same but they have a website if you want to check it out. http://www.cycleworld.com
O.K., promo over.
Happy Holidays from across the ditch.
