Flakey joins Team Crashed 06

Got taken out by a cage who did a U turn in front of me on Monday.

He's hit the left side of the bike as I've gone past him and I've been high sided, rolled a few times and and sat up in the middle of the road looking back the way I came and at my bike. :( Left leg didn't want to work so I worked my way to the curb and waited for the ambos.

Nothing broken, just really sore left leg and left shoulder/arm.

Bike didn't look too good, I'm about to call the shop and see if they rekon it's a write off.

Take care ppl, they're all out to get us.

Hey Bruce, as mentioned I'll come visit when I'm in Perth. Am so sorry to hear of your off but am glad you are ok.

I hope the cager has insurance!!

Bugger! Hopefully you get it sorted with no hassles, and if it's written off you can get that new 10 you know you want ;)

Ain't a truer word said. Bad luck mate, least you're up and about, sounds like you're gonna be sore tomorrow though pal, take it easy mate and all the best for the claim, i hope you do well out of it in the end.

Welcome to the club, it's not exactly prestegious, but there are some top names in it; so much so I joined twice :shock:

I hope the leg mends ok and the insurance is sorted quick.

BUGGA mate, glad you are ok, all will heal including you :wink:

Hopefully there will be little pain in the bike insurance thing.

...sheeit Flakey, not good

I rode for more than 20 years
and
then got taken out by a U-turner back in '99
he did the turn...next to a NO U-Turn sign :evil:
so
I know 'zactly how ya feel

glad nothing major..but bugger it hurts
soft tissue does not like the ½twist and pike...on bitumen
