Nice cop
Ha ha mg have to love the ghost rider, a queensland copper would have rammed him in the back wheel as soon as he was close enough.
If not they would have sideswipped him.
A victorian one would have just shot him.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

He did thank me for stopping, like he was half expecting to either do a hairy u turn to give chase or keep going thinking I hadnt seen his headlights flash. The discos didnt flash up until he was behind me soaardvark wrote:Knocking km/h off just goes to show you how questionable their integrity is! You can always trust the interstate coppers to bring the rest of us down.
I suppose I could have gone on my merry way. With the traffic going my way and the twists and turns in the road he would have had his work cut out just catching back up to me at legal speeds before a heap of
exits going on to major arterials.
and besides I am sure there is one or two decent blokes in the force
in the southern states. (at least one I hope

I can speak for one SA cop, if you get done 30k's over (I think) it's more than just a speeding ticket, it falls into the dangerous driving area which means court appearance, big fine, big points loss and possible suspension.
A cop knocking a few km's off a. punishes you for speeding (not as serious as it could be). b. saves him a whole heap of paperwork and court time. c. does you a big favour. A lot depends if you pass the "attitude test" when you get pulled over.
he was actually VERY nice as he took you under the double the points in two years (if you get busted again) for being 20k and + over
I also have a few stories (suprsie suprise) of very nice Qld Police, and none about nice ones I'state
never been busted in SA but I expect Aardy to cut me some slack (PLEASE ????) assuming I am not being a dork that is.
Act like a knob and you deserve to be treated like one.

Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD
