help me decide
help me decide
i have decided to get rid of the gpx250r.
i have options being
a - brand new Suzuki GSX750F - $10,990 + orc
b - 1998 Honda CBR600F - 20,000 KM'S, no rego, needs new rear tyre - $5,500
I considered a last in stock ZX636 but the riding position on long trips is gunna be a pain in the back as opposed to the GSX750F.
i can trade the gpx in for the GSX750F, have not gotten a quote on the trade in price.
the honda is in good nick, few scratches and bumps. Owner claims it to be in good condition plus the rear tyre is good for another 2,000k's
honest suggestions please

well i chose the GSX750F as one of my possible new bikes for its comfort, easy riding position and fuel economy of approx 290km on a tank.
it has a 20L tank.
the cbr and zx have sexy nasty looks to them as opposed to the gsx
two voices inside me,
one saying go the cbr as it looks hot
then the second voice saying go the gsx for reliability and practicality in performance and comfort because when nobody's lookin at me its just me and the bike so it has to make good.
sitting on the cbr i felt a bit uncomfortable in its low bar position where the gsx was better and i felt secure.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
the wife has given the thumbs up for an upgrade and i dont know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have grown weiry of 2nd hand goods now and appreciate going new for warranty and reliability.
just too many nicks and scratches not to mention age on the cbr

Go the Suzuki mate - its *new*, it has a warranty, it will do almost everything you want it to as far as touring is concerned, and will be much more comfortable over a long haul.
Try and score a test-ride on one if you can, before taking the plunge...

".....shut the gate on this one Maxie......it's the ducks guts !!............."
If you can afford it go for the SUzi its brand new & all
If you can't go for the Honda, I had the cbr600f4 99 model, very comfortable too it to PI and back & other long trips no probs,no back aches or arms or wrist aches,(I have a bad back & weak chest area).
But I think you should be able to pick up a newer one maybe or even one with rego ,they go for about 7500 7900 with rego.
Mike-s might chip in with his opinion of the Suzi
Good luck
