Thought I'd update you on the saga.........
Apparently it's a 92 Holden Nova
I changed the regulator/brushes on the alternator, put on a new battery and she's good.....well apart from the water pump pissing out
Just got to find one of them now and it looks a right cow to get at
Sunday morning after Jess's party (not good being upside down with a load of alcohol sloshing about in ya belly
) I had the Dishwasher in a million bits to discover a slight leak that was tripping the anti - flood device i.e the drain motor just kept running, dried it out mended the leak and fingers crossed it should be OK.
Quick shower and down to the park for the bbq, afterwards back home to find out the lad has decided to go back to the UK on the 16th December for a couple of months to earn some cash. Mum is not best pleased as Kay moves home tonight from Perth and it would have been the first time we'd have been ALL together for Xmas for about 7 years, not to mention the fact he was supposed to be dog sitting for us while we did the xmas tour with Billy and Co and we've had to bail out
I get the feeling that somehow it will transpire into being my fault
