Wow, well I guess it's quite a collectible and will only continue to increase in value.

I got this shot @ PI ,Brock's brother at the wheel.
It went really quite for a little while, then everybody started applauding as the car made its way around the circuit.
At turn 1

hey Pabs..great shot

btw it was Brocks son..James driving it at the Island
with Wayne Gardner on board
(and Craig Lowndes drove it at Bathurst)
I thought I would recognise it..as I saw it at PI in...1973

Im lucky enough to be able to see some of these as a bloke from Rockhampton (of all places) owns a LOT of Brockies cars and keeps em in a shed near Yeppoon, apparently he is going to open to the public soon.
He has been trying for years to get a track going up here but the usual buearocracry keeps mucking him up.
Does anbody know if he bought it ?? (I wouldnt doubt it) his name is Champion, not unlike the bloke whose gear he collects actually

pardon the spelling I am a bit pissy

dont think so

there is only so many people in aus that could afford to drop half a mil on a car

aussie touring cars arent exactly a worldwide following

if it was something of senna or elvis etc then it might increase easily but brockies old torrie , nah

you are of course thinking of the Bowdens

and drool

Moff's Mustang and XY GTHO PHIII,
Hamiltons RSR racing Porsche
Brocks '79 Bathurst winning A9X Torana
(Brock first...daylight second... Brock won by 6 laps
AND set the lap record on the LAST lap)
and
it gets better...cars like Beecheys HT GTS350 Monaro
and THAT Monaro was the reason i bought one
