Some of u may remeber my "sister" wendy, who drove me to Halls Gap when i didnt have a licence (05)....she also visited us breifly at turn 1 this year at the Moto GP... she had about 34 posts on the site around about the time of HG.....
On saturday nite at abt 9pm Wendy struck a pedestrian who it seems wandered out in front of her, in a poorly lit area...... both died instantly so it seems (and we hope)...... theres several rumours going around, and news reports of varying truth...... the police still have the bike and bodies for investigations....
i kno we dont like hearing about this shit, and we dont like that it happens.... most of the SA guys kno wots goin on, as we laid flowers at the spot today and had a bit of a memorial....
anyway.... miss u sis.....

Sorry dude that has to be hard to swallow but when your numbers up... could happen to any of us anytime.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

From someone who just lost a mate in a bike accident... I have an idea of what you're going through Neka.
Make sure you talk about it to anyone you feel appropriate (wife / girlfriend / bar tender / councellor / anyone!).
Don't bottle it up.
My sincere condolences to family and friends concerned.
