From time to time you get to chat to other riders and I love that comeraderie we have and the range of people you meet...yesterday morning I was having a chat to a bike cop about his safety gear and this morning I was chatting to a motorbike courier about his latest speeding fine
From cops to couriers
From cops to couriers
Being stuck in traffic on my daily commute to work isn't my idea of fun, but if I have to be stuck, it's great to be on a bike..

where i live most of the cops all own a bike and are pretty cool when it comes to meeting with you.
as long as your not do wheelies in the main drag or burnouts on the walkways they are pretty cool
tonight they were flaggin down cars for RBT, they let me go right through..i seen i was gonna be next but the female cop waved me through i gave her a wave in return.

Also remember that they are a rider as well as a cop, sometimes they are too busy watchng the idiots on the road to notice you or be able to respond.
So don't take it personally if someone doesn't nod back, they may be watching some idiot who cut them off, or might do so (e.g. on the way home from work this morning i had 3 people try to knock me off/change lanes INTO mine on the 29km trip home.
