Hmmm. I put V-power racing in my zxr... it worked fine..
Although I couldn't here the engine from the doof doofing of my ipod...
As the bike was tuned with elf 102, I needed something high in octane to give similar results without spending $3 a litre...
But yes, as it appears to be the std v-power (ex optimimax) with 5% ethanol to increase the octane, it should actually be cheaper..

The governments push to endorse Ethanol was on the basis that it will reduce the price of petrol with out effecting the quality or causing damage to engines.
If petrol companies whose ethics can not be questioned can market it as a new product they can then price it higher to justify the change and research etc. The poor fuel companies have to make a dollar some how and the goverment only take (as a guess) 75% tax on fuel will back the fuel companies every time. That is untill an election is close.

Does that mean you can only use V Power if you actually have an engine with a V formation??? Mad Kaw you will be doing your ZXR harm unless they bring out a petrol called Inline 4 power.
I find it is the best to use in the oldish Pajero, seems to give more power and mileage than any other 95+ ron fuel. Don't know about bikes, all I know opticrap was no good for bikes.

No such thing as a poor fuel company, 4 major players in australia.

well heres an intersting point..isnt ethanol a type of alcohol??
therefore the 5% ethanol in the mix should be taxed HIGHER cos alcohol is taxed higher??..YAY more fucking tax!!
one of the independant mobs here (liberty i think) have this eth blend too, it was 20c a litre dearer than standard and abt 15c a litre dearer than the 95 mid octane gear...
