Looks like he'll need some of my special rash cream...works a treat

Seriously though, the brakes are really powerful on the 14. I locked them up on my test ride of one, and I reckon you'd need to be pretty careful of grabbing a handful in a panic situation.

A long black skidmark usually indicates a back tire lockup, not front...

Front tire lockups generally are short and then sweep off to the left or right before stopping.... Frow "Wow to Ow" in 20ft is how someone explained it to me once..

....and rear lockups are less likely to end in scrape marks

and therein lies the best lesson about brakes - Never apply them at speed in a panic - its easier said than done, but rolling off the throttle allows you to maintain control..........I think this rider was unaware of how powerful the brakes are on the 14 ! as Mick C says, they have incredible stopping power, I was way impressed on the test fang  ( no lockups tho  ) (probably not going quick enough  )

The skidmark was probably a combo of both tyres, given the power of the brakes....
