sweet, I always thought water props were far more efficient than air props. From people alternating water & air props on airboats i've seen how much more "on rails" a water prop keeps it. Agreed about being a lot tidier wit the d-f layout. The only advantage i *was* aware of was to do with the wash at the edge of the air prop being non-existant with a d-f layout.

I used to have a Tamya Nissan Skyline 4WD running on the 7.2 Nicam batteries..... Sold it....... was boring.....

My father used to make RC gliders...... but everytime he let me fly one I would crash it into a barbwire fence and I would have to rebuild the wings for him :(...........

well... i actually shopped around at my 3 local hobbystores and got my new toy, 25 bucks cheaper than the traxxas e-rustler, but with all the hop ups like anodised aluminium shock tops, 19t modified motor, 15t taser esc, slipper clutch etc is the Sportwerks Ravet st. awesome for the price, the only thing to complain about is the shoddy *looking* radio.

im also picking up a tamiya baja king for kicks to build, also as 'insurance' against the raven for when my cousin feel jealous and want to play with somthing... instead of running my new car into the lake or into a cliff face at 45km+

edit: oh did i mention, fully ballraced ;)

piccys *not mine, but same thing*
