Have you ever tried to shove a nail into a tyre? Takes a fair bit of effort. In fact, I'd be impressed if you could do it with your hands.

We had a bloke at work who had a bolt go through the rear rim and out the tyre from the inside. At first you'd think it was impossible, but that's just the way it was.

Mate i reckon it was just a freak tyre puncher that u picked up of the road.

mate its hard enough trying to slash tyre, let alone trying to jam a nail inbetween the tyre and rim.

Do u think someone was hammering ur tyre :?:

I droped across saw it and the angle ect it went in is very odd for a freak punture, it didn't go in that far, but it was enough to piss him off.

check this out, what happened was my girlfriends tyre picked up a nail, it went flat over time, she hadnt noticed it yet, drove a bit more to a servo as she noticed it, nail by that time had double punctured the tyre wall and then the tip of the nail pulled in by the reinflation.

either way this tyre, with 14kkm on it and barely any use, was utterly farked.
