What did u think to the QLD Bike Expo?
What did you guys think to the bike expo at the convention centre?
I stuck around for about hour and half i got out.
The dancing girls were ok
The bike displays were good, especially when suzuki got 2 hot girls on the 750 and 1000.
Things for sale, very average.
Bike jumps were good, but only caught a glimpse as the shop stands covered the view.
Think I'll give it a miss next year.
Did get a good quote on my bike, half the price of suncorp. Can't remember the name of the top of my head, but were at the back near the main stage.

Yep wasn't too bad. Just like many bikeshop showrooms under the one roof. Saw new Guzzi Breva 850. Better looking than the 750. Sport 1000 Ducks as well as the GT1000 were kewl. Kawasaki display was pretty comprehensive. Still showing ZZR250 and GPX250 (yuk paintjob this year). Saw Tanya there but she was too busy so I didn't introduce myself.
Hyosung display was interesting. Not seen their models up close. GT250 very similar to GT650.
Dunno if i would pay again to visit a bikeshop. Got shouted in this year so I dunno what it would cost. Run into some mates there, one of whom wasn't into bikes last time I saw him. He rides a 400cc scooter and is now looking for a motorcycle. If it attracts people like him all the better. Might go next year to see what is new.

Didn't think much of the 07 ZX10R with the flames on the side, might just be me but spending 19-20k on a bike you don't want something a 17yr old has on their bike(no offence kids..) BMW had some nice new bikes,F800 looks like will sell well and the Benelli Cafe Racer looked awesome!

would have loved to say hi to you Bonester
actually i was going to say the girl at the kwakka stand on sunday was hot
But for what it's worth, overall I didn't find it that interesting, but I did get to meet the boss of Netrider, that was a good convo for us
It was a shame kawasaki didn't send any new models for us to display
