Just went to Team Moto at Grandville looking for a helmet for the little guy and saw the 636. I bloody hate going into these kind of shops, see bike, sit on, imagine, fall in love then find out that it is possible. At about $14500 onroad the old ZX7 could almost get the boot The guys there are so helpfull. I wish they were rude that way i could leave and not think about it again.
Oh well untill i go back there during the week to find out more about the finance options, only time will tell , or they sell out first

Teammoto at Granville is where I bought my 636 from and have personally found the guys there to be nothing but helpful and friendly, even post purchase.
I was there on Friday to get my 1000km service done and they gave me a lift to the station so I could get to work and even picked me up from there when I came to collect the bike.
Sounds a bit steep, we were down there a couple of weeks ago and they were talking about $11900 plus on road... thats about $13500 on road I believe..
As Hoffy said try Narellan Kawi too...

My biased advice? Get the current 636
What They sold you a brand new bike, and didn't offer a loaner for the first service. That's discusting.

I get my bike serviced at teamoto (used to be midtown kawasaki).
Nothing but praise for the guys there, particulary their service manager, Tony, who is always willing to help, offer advise and have a chat.
Had my bike serviced prior to that at a little one-man-band place. Just trying to support the local industry. Only did it once. They spilt brake fluid on my fairing and only wiped off the stuff on the outside. Didn't stop it rotting away my fairing from the inside, then they denied all responsiblity and said anyone could have done it.
Pricks.
Professionalism means more than just the one off service and sale.
